Studying a shame?

Studying is NOT a shamful thing. I know you've met some people (especially high school students)  that will always claim that they dont study at all but always score in exams. Why is that so? Its because he/she studies at home but is just too ashamed to admit it to their friends. Its not a shameful thing to admit to people that you actually do study. Your not a nerd if you study and you dont necessary be ashamed if you tell your friends that you study but still fail in exams. Just tell them you'll try better next time and indeed you'll have to. To a lot of people, studying is something which is not cool. Not studying, skipping classes, trying to create problems in school is actually the cool trend for teenagers. Actually it is cool, BUT do you just want to be cool in high school but fail in life after that? Think for a moment there, high school will probally be 5 years +/- depending on countries but in malaysia its 5years for normal students. So basically being cool for 5 years and being a loser for the rest of your life because you cant earn enough because you didnt study in school. It aint worth it really. Why not just study hard and do well and be cool your whole life after that? No im not saying you'll have to actually study hard and all just to earn a good living. Yes, you may say that people that dont study but end up billion kazilianairs after that (billgates). Yes that's true but the normal path is to study, do well in college, university and earn a good job in life after that. Not everyone can be successful if they start from nothing you know. I dare to say that there's not even 10% out of everyone that didnt do well in school, college and uni. So what im basically telling you here is, if your skipping school and stuff, i advice you to at least put some effort and have some initiative and heart to your studies. It'll do you a whole lot of good in future. Trust me, ive been there done that! By the way, if you did badly in high school, its alright. Dont think your studying days are over because its not necessary that someone doing very good in high school will do good in college and uni. College is basically a fresh new start for you to turn over a new leaf. People will not know about your past and will not care too. You did good, you did bad. It doesnt matter at all. As long as you put your heart to it. It doesnt matter how long you take to get there, as long as you dont stop. Ive got a good example of a true life story about someone whose that but i wont post it on this post as its off topic. Dream big, live big.
